1000 Miglia 2025: Historic Route Returns with Exciting New Events
The legendary 1000 Miglia race is set to return from June 17 to June 21, 2025, bringing back its classic figure-eight route reminiscent of the pre-war era. This year, the course not only traces the iconic Brescia-Rome-Brescia path but also links Italy’s stunning Adriatic and Tyrrhenian coasts, promising a truly memorable journey for car enthusiasts and spectators alike.
A Journey Through Italy’s Heartland
Spanning 1,900 kilometers, the 2025 edition will see 420 of the world’s most exquisite cars—referred to as the “only traveling museum in the world”—race over five unforgettable days. The adventure begins in Brescia’s Viale Venezia, with the first leg ending in San Lazzaro di Savena (Bologna). On Wednesday, the convoy arrives in Rome before heading back north, where the third stage concludes in the coastal town of Cervia-Milano Marittima.
On Friday, participants will cross Italy from east to west, with a highlight being the passage through the iconic Naval Academy in Livorno. This event underscores the longstanding partnership with the Italian Navy, showcasing the cooperation between the race, armed forces, and police. The fourth stage takes place in Parma, setting the scene for a thrilling grand finale on Saturday, June 21. Cars will return to Brescia’s Viale Venezia around midday, and the event will end with a celebratory parade on Piazza Vittoria as part of the lively Festa della Musica.
Innovation Meets Tradition
The 2025 event will feature not only classic vehicles but also 123 Ferraris from the Tribute 1000 Miglia and a selection of 1000 Miglia Green electric cars. Additionally, autonomous vehicles from the Politecnico di Milano will participate, promoting advancements in self-driving technology aimed at optimizing urban mobility.
Festivities and Community Initiatives
The pre-event festivities start on Sunday, June 15, with the opening of the 1000 Miglia Village in the historic Piazza Vittoria. As part of the “La 1000 Miglia goes to school” program, children will decorate a dedicated car that will join the race convoy. Throughout the event, Radio Deejay’s hosts will provide live coverage and commentary, bringing the excitement to fans along the route. Highlights also include the first edition of the Talk 1000 Forme – Designed to Win at Teatro Grande and the pre-release screening of the film “Fury & The Monster” at the UNESCO-listed S. Giulia Museum on Monday. Meanwhile, a ceremonial procession of cars will take place in the heart of the village.
Driving Change Through Charity
The special 1000 Miglia Charity Car, in collaboration with La Zebra Onlus, aims to raise public awareness and funds for a next-generation ultrasound device to be donated to the Children’s Hospital in Brescia.
