Pandora Schedules Extraordinary General Meeting for August 2025, Nominates Lars Sandahl Sørensen for Board of Directors
Pandora, renowned as the world's largest jewellery brand, has announced it will convene an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on August 14, 2025. The primary agenda is the proposed election of Lars Sandahl Sørensen to the Board of Directors. Prior to this, he held senior executive positions including Deputy President/CEO and COO at Scandinavian Airlines Group.
Lars Sandahl Sørensen Nominated for Board Membership
Pandora’s decision reflects confidence in Mr. Sørensen's extensive executive leadership, both nationally and internationally, particularly in complex and competitive settings. As CEO of DI, Sørensen has played a pivotal role in policy development at both Danish and European Union levels, and has a strong track record in corporate sustainability and ESG transformation.
Peter A. Ruzicka, Chair of Pandora’s Board of Directors, commented: “Lars brings a wealth of leadership experience and a strong track record of driving results. His policy influence and commitment to sustainability will be valuable assets for Pandora.”
Lars Sandahl Sørensen expressed enthusiasm about the nomination, stating, "Pandora's transformation in recent years has been impressive. If elected, I look forward to supporting Pandora’s ongoing growth, innovation, and value creation."
If elected during the EGM, Lars Sandahl Sørensen will be an independent board member.
Christian Frigast to Step Down as Deputy Chair
Deputy Chair Christian Frigast has confirmed he will not stand for re-election at the Annual General Meeting in 2026, concluding a 15-year tenure on the Board. Frigast previously played a significant role as managing partner at Axcel, the private equity firm that acquired Pandora in 2008 and led the company through its IPO in 2010.
Peter A. Ruzicka highlighted Frigast’s contribution, saying, “Christian was instrumental in Pandora’s journey to becoming the world’s largest jewellery brand. We are grateful for his dedicated service.”
