Pandora Announces DKK 4 Billion Share Buyback Programme
On February 5, 2025, Pandora revealed the launch of a significant share buyback programme, as detailed in Company Announcement no. 923. This initiative is carried out in line with Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 concerning market abuse, ensuring transparency and fairness in market operations.
Objectives of the Buyback
The main aims of this share buyback are to reduce Pandora’s share capital and to support the company’s incentive programmes. Such buybacks can also help enhance shareholder value over time.
Details of the Buyback Programme
Pandora plans to repurchase its shares for a total maximum amount of DKK 4.0 billion between February 6, 2025, and January 30, 2026. The programme is segmented into two tranches:
- First tranche: Up to DKK 1.3 billion, completed between February 6 and June 6, 2025.
- Second tranche: DKK 1.35 billion, managed solely by BNP, running from June 10 to October 3, 2025.
The share repurchase activities are disclosed in compliance with EU regulations to ensure shareholders and the market are fully informed.
Current Treasury Shares
Following these transactions, Pandora presently holds 1,832,904 treasury shares, accounting for approximately 2.3% of the company’s total share capital.
