VINCI Energies Announces Acquisition of Wärtsilä SAM Electronics in Germany

VINCI Energies, a global leader in energy services and construction, has entered into an agreement to acquire Wärtsilä SAM Electronics GmbH, a Hamburg-based company specializing in maritime technologies and energy market solutions.

Strategic Expansion into the German Defense Market

Founded in 1906, Wärtsilä SAM Electronics is currently a subsidiary of the Finnish group Wärtsilä Corporation. The company is well-known for its expertise in integrating electrical systems and automation for the German navy and shipyards located in key northern cities such as Hamburg, Wilhelmshaven, Elmenhorst, Bremerhaven, and Kiel.

Through its Actemium brand, this acquisition will enable VINCI Energies to broaden its industrial service offerings and strengthen its position within Germany's defense sector. The transaction adds approximately 350 specialized employees and an annual revenue increase of €100 million to VINCI Energies' portfolio.

Transaction Timeline and Regulatory Review

The acquisition is expected to close in the late fourth quarter of 2025, pending approval from relevant regulatory authorities.
